To be held in Canberra on Saturday 19th September 2020. A charity bicycle ride involving up to an estimated 150 participants. Great turnout today, for our first AFPFMA virtual coffee catch up. What a success! Thanks to all who turned up, very enjoyable with lots of laughs, which is what it’s all about. We gas bagged for over an hour and was well worth it. Zoom is a great way to have an on-line meeting and get together in these difficult times. It’s very important to look after our mental health, so reconnecting is a great way to do that.
A group of over 60 former AFP members came together at the AFP College in Barton, Canberra on Friday 18 October 2019, to attend the inaugural AGM of the Australian Federal Police Former Members Association Inc. The previous Executive Committee was returned with the addition of 2 new committee members.

Today we paused for National Police Remembrance Day (NPRD), when we commemorate the service of those Police who have given their life while on duty. From all accounts it was a huge turnout to many venues with NPRD services held all over Australia.
